• Reservations are open for the 2024 season! We have reserved a certain number of rooms (available at a discounted rate) for the weekend, and anticipate that they will book up quickly. You can book under Genovese / Kits van Heyningen wedding by calling Basin Harbor at 802-475-2311. Please do not book online - the wedding rate is only available via phone.

  • Basin Harbor can arrange transportation to / from Burlington airport for a fee. Please call 802-475-2311 for more information! Taxi , Uber and Lyft are also available at the Burlington airport.

    Please note: while you may be able to get an Uber / Lyft / taxi from the airport to Basin Harbor, it may be more challenging to get one from Basin Harbor back to the airport, so advanced planning is advised.

  • Basin Harbor has ~70 cottages and ~40 inn rooms across four lodge buildings. Each of the private cottages has a unique personality of its own, and no two cottages are alike! The Reservations team is happy to help determine the best room or cottage for you and your family/friends based on your preferences.

  • Attire for the wedding ceremony / reception is Semi-Formal. Please make sure you are prepared for late spring / early summer weather in Vermont. Given the on-site nature of all wedding activities, it is possible to return to rooms and cottages fairly easily so please be sure to pack a coat / sweater in the event it is chilly, and note that the ceremony and the cocktail hour are outside on grass.

  • No - One of the perks of Basin Harbor is that everything is walkable, right on site! There are also golf carts available for rent. If you would like to check out the town of Vergennes or plan to drive, there is free parking available at the resort.
